Astrology is a pseudoscience. It's a pure lie under the garb of science. It's a curse of our ignorant forefathers who had nothing else to do but speculate on how to connect human 'destiny' to the positions of the stars.
Many people in the modern era have taken to it as a profession since its easy to dupe people and people are often too timid and ignorant to challenge its flawed ideas.

It is in no way a science. No way what so ever. It's like fortune telling. Saying an astrologer uses planets scientifically is like saying a fortune teller using tarot cards is science. Just because he has a handle of the geometric position of tarot cards on a table is not mathematics.

Astronomy, like other sciences, uses the scientific method; that is observation-based theory, development of hypothesis, experimentation, gathering of evidence, etc. I don't know that much about astrology, but I don't think it uses any of these. I think it's just simple ovservation of the stars' relationship to the planets, and converting it into a "prediction" using predetermined rules.

In a way. Crafting fortunes that are broad enough to apply to a general population could be considered somewhat of a "science." But no, not in the academic sense.

Astrology is a science which is a combination of astronomy and mathematics.
If you have interest in understanding it, then it is science but if you cannot understand it, then it will be like an humbug for you.

No it is not.

ASTRONOMY is the scientific study of astronomical objects and phenomena: ASTROLOGY is concerned with the attempt to correlate the movements of heavenly bodies (which historically involved measurement of the celestial sphere) with earthly and human affairs

Absolutely not! It is something that was developed when people thought the earth was flat, and that a guy in a chariot pulled the sun around in the sky.
