I took speech class in community college, and yesterday I talked with the professor, she said my grades may not be pass,so she suggested me to DROP,although I will get "W".But today when I drop it online,it said the deadline had passed!!!I really can not believe it!Now my question is if I do not attend class anymore, and I will get fail ,right? If I wanna transfer to University in the future,Does this grade affect a lot?I really do not know that.
I dont know if I should attend the class but not pass or just absent and then get fail... Please help me!!!!

So, did the deadline to drop pass, but not the deadline to withdraw? If you can still withdraw from the class, you can still get a W. At my university, drop and withdraw are different things. You can get the registrar to help you with this question.

It sounds like you still have a chance to pass the class, so you should do the best you can. If you stop going now, you will for sure fail. Keep trying, if you don't withdraw. Talk to the professor and ask her if it is possible to pass the class, and what you can do. Then do whatever she tells you.

Based on your question, I gather that English may not be your native language. If this is true, perhaps you can find an ESL class that will help you to build your English speaking skills, so you'll be better prepared when you take the speech class again.

Even though you can't drop it online, you can probably still drop it through your school's administration. Look on your school's website about the procedure for dropping classes. You'll probably just need your teacher's permission.
Otherwise, if you have to stick with the class, then I'd start working really hard, right now. Get a tutor, read the book, go to all of your classes, even if you only end up making a C-. That grade WILL affect you in the future and if you just give up in that class, you'll end up with an F, which hurts a lot worse than a C-.
My favorite way to study is to make flashcards for memorizing terms, or since it's a speech class, you could practice delivering your speech to a group of people. Have someone who's good at English edit your speeches and make improvements. Good luck!
