Cleopatra VII of the Ptolomaic dynasty of Egypt was of Macedonian decsent. Ptolomey I was one of Alexander the Great's generals(from Macedonia) and thus the family was of the European extraction. You see, because it was Egypt and this is in Africa and Cleopatra was a very famous women in history-the people who are that way inclined use a deception or are decieved themselves of a semantical nature and assert or presume that Cleopatra was black. Furthermore the Ptolomies mistook the ancient Egyptian customer of Pharoah marrying his sister or sisters (which was basically ceremonial) and really did marry their's) They were most probably insestuously bred but they certainly were not black.

Even the ancient Egyptians, say of Menes or Ramaseys II were like many of the Egyptains of today. If you see coloured pictures from tombs and manuscripts you will see that they are of a brown colouring. Add this to the fact that the Ptolomaic dynasty came from Europe and you will see that calling Cleopatra black is something that doesn't cut, no matter how much you try to stretch it. There is a limit to the lies you can tell and still keep a straight face.

These people have no facts to back up their fantastical whims and wishes and they know it. They are like the liberals who wish something to be so and thus will do anything , even bare lying , to believe it themselves and put it over to others. The reason is that they want justification for their own ideas and to claim accomplishment where it is not. This is done for propoganda purposes(in other words-LIES)

Now it wouldn't matter one iota what the damm colour a historical figure is. It is what they have done that counts. However in history one must stick to the truth. One, for accuracy's sake and two, so that the lessons of history will have an accurate and factual base so we may get the correct and truthful lessons from it. If we start on a false base, we make false assumptions and learn false lessons. This is what these pepole intend. But history is well known and although many say in ingnorance, many others have an agenda. They shouldn't have attempted such. For history is too well known for them to sucseed. However such is their folly that an old saying can be attributed to them. "THOSE WHOM THE GODS WOULD DESTROY-THEY FIRST RENDER MAD." Hope this helps.

There is a possibility that Cleopatra was black, and so was Hannibal. In Cleopatra's bloodline, there was a chance that one of her ancestors was illegitimate.
