In some cases yes it can be repaired. Cataracts or Glaucoma are treatable by laser, implants and/or medications. If a person is diagnosed with macular degeneration then there is no way that your vision will ever be back to normal again, Macular degeneration is a deterioration of the muscle tissue in the eyes and that cannot be repaired.

yep it's possible.
It can be done through cataract surgery and in some serious cases the cataract is removed and a new convex lens of high power is put in place of it.I am sure old people can get back their best vision to see wonderful things.

If it is caused by cataracts or retinal hemmorage and these conditions are corrected, yes it can get somewhat better. Poor eyesight however is just something that happens as you get older. if it is sudden you really need to get your eyes checked it could be macular degeneration, glaucoma or a number of other conditions that need to be treated.
