There is an Urban Legend that most men believe in 2 rules in marriage:
1. The wife is always right (No matter what)
2. In the event that your wife is ever wrong, see rule #1

Nope that is not true and never heard of that before. I think if you believe that then i have a bridge by a lake here in texas to sell you with lots of water. You can't follow any rules too well men are so weird little creatures.

Nope. I've been married for 11years but haven't imposed that rule to my husband or vise versa.
I believe that in marriage or in whatever relationship that you are into, there should be fairness & equality in judgment. You cannot just say you're right when you're wrong!!?
In marriages who have been following that rule, if there's any, that is their personal choice i guess.

I can always tell when my husband thinks hes gonna get some because hes too nice and empathetic to me, So ya the wife is always right because guys just want one thing at the end of the day and he gets it just as long as he keeps letting me think I'm right.lol

Some women love this legend, One that goes with this is for women, it does not matter that the man is right don't ever let him know it. He may become argumentative

there are no rules in marriage including that one. in my case my husband is the love of life , my best friend , ect. we do everything together and decide everything together its more of a partnership than anything . he has his opinion and i have mine we try to find each other somewhere in the middle

This urban legand is incorrerct... The womanor wife is not always right... We are only human like our husbands are and we all make mistakes and are wrong at times. I always to to admit when i am wrong and say that i am sorry to my husband and ask him to forgive me.

no it is not true that woman follow these rules. I am a married woman and in our life..whatever my hubby said or do is correct and final. So is no question of me in the long run.....
