my friends all claimed to be wearing them in sixth grade. I got one to fit in and found out that they were all bluffing. my mom got it for me to shut me up. It was a plain white one and it fealt really weird the first few times but i grew to love it!
Who and what convinced you to wear one for the first time. Who got it for you? what did it look like? was it comfy?

I know that this is a weird answer coming form a guy. But I got into wearing thongs because an exgrlfriend, who worked at Frederick’s of Hollywood, literally push me into wearing them. We went traveling and camping for a couples of weeks and the only type of underwear that she had packed for me were thongs. So I not choice, well, I hues I could had gone commando. But she then said something to me that shut me up and made me wear them. She said "I though that you said that clothes don't make a man?" Now, I love them and wear them often as well as boxerbriefs.
Some people feel that men shouldn't wear thongs, but I don't see why not. People put too much importance on underwear. I guess that some people are homophobic and think that men who wear thongs are gay or feminine, as if the type of underwear you wear makes you more or less of a man. Dhaaa! I don’t suffer from homophobia, and I’m too secure about my masculinity and sexuality to worry about little stuff like that.
Ironically, there's a western gay bar by my home and you should see some of the guys that go in and out of that place. Some look gay (totally feminine), some like the average guy walking down the street, and some look all super, and I mean SUPER DUPER macho tuff guys wearing western outfits. I’m not talking about some skinny guys, I’m talking about some well build guys. Football player builds. They look totally, 100%, MANLY MEN…and yet, they are gay! Clothes, in particular underwear, DO NOT make a man!

I'm wearing one right now and it's a green gstring. The first the was when I was 10 my mom saw my underwear from my shorts and replaced all of my underwear with these mini gstrings lol

Oh wow, it feels like it's been so long... i think I was 15 back then.Some of my friends were wearing it, so one day I went straight to my mom and told her "Mom, i need to ask you for a favor.I need you to buy me something" and then I started telling her what was all about.She didn't say no, she just wanted to make sure I was comfortable with it.She got me like 3-4 pairs that day, really silly ones too, with different colours and so on.

My first white cotton pants on vacation, I was 14. I didn't want to go commando so I had to buy a thong and I had to hide it from my mom for oh so long...

Haha my older sister (who had already moved out, but was visiting) had one and my mom found it while she was doing her laundry. Instead of being strict about it, she actually got sort of curious and asked if she could buy me one too (I was about 15). She wanted to know if it was really uncomfortable.

I wore my first one because i didnt want a visible panty line. I liked the look of them anyways and they are sexy.
