HELPPPPP MEEEEEEE!!!
i recentlly rebooted my computer completly ... and now it says i have no sound device installed??? what thaa? i dont have a cd to install it from what do i do!!??

Hey by rebooted do you mean you have reinstalled Windows XP.
If thats the case, as a few answers already said windows xp detects most sound cards.
Go to start > settings> control panel > system> device manager
Check if there is a tree for other devices or there are some devices with a yellow circle and ! mark in sound devices.
Any of these would indicate that the Sound Drivers are not installed.
If you have onboard sound, if you know the mother boards model you can go to their website and download the drivers.
If you dont know the mother board model you can unscrew your cabinet and check your mother board to find the model number.
Or else go to download.com and download and install everest lite edititon and run it.
It will give you a complete list of software and hardware installed on your system.
Go to the Mother Board Sound Card Page and you will have a link to the drivers website.

if u r using windows xp then most of the drivers are installed automatically..otherwise just get to know what device ur having and then just do a google search for the drivers

try and find out what the sound drivers are and then download them online.. this is a very common computer problem, another thing could be your sound card is broken..
get a mac...

Use windows xp system restore program and revert to your previous date that your sound is still working
