In long run both are harmful.You should have strong will power to give up something like quitting cigarette and drinks. Once you have quit smoking then why get into another habit of drinking. Do meditation that can help you divert your mind. Or if you really want a substitute you can chew plain or sweet beetle leaves.

Forget the coke, unless what you are talking about doesn't come in a can. Go straight for the 151 proof Rum. I found there is no problem a bottle of that can't cure. And even if it doesn't cure your problems, you won't care.

When I quit smoking black coffee helped me.It curbed the cravings,booze just made me want to smoke again.But I have to agree,rum and coke sounds good.

So now you are can get hooked to rum and coke...lol. Why not put your mind into cooking great healthy tasty food for yourself and eat it in front of the tv watching your favorite show?!

been there....try not to replace one bad habit with another. (apparently they call that addiction transfer...I did it with coffee)
But if its just one drink tonight and you don't feel the need to have a rum and coke everytime you have a nicotine fit then....yeah, go for it
