I want to go to Colorado for a week, I do not ski, I like to raft, want to relax in the scenery but I also want to party in a great night life resort or town. Where should I go? Never been there.

Aspen if you have the bucks.

Winter Park if you don't.

Weekends will have the most stuff going on. It may be difficult to get a reservation.

There's no rafting this time of year. Come back in May, after this winter you'll have all the whitewater you can handle. Some places may be closed because of high water levels.

If you don't ski, snowshoeing is an outdoor alternative. Cross country skiing is pretty easy to learn.

Vail and Aspen have great nightlife, but are a bit more expensive to stay in. Breckenridge is a great ski town with a bit less expensive lodging spots to stay in, and one of my favorites. The main street in Breck has some of the greatest bars and pubs for a ski town.

Breckenridge is a nice area but it sounds like everyone here is listing ski town areas. rafting is in the canyon city area but its winter right now.

For rafting I would say Glenwood Springs or Salida. For better night life you can go to Pueblo and that isn't far to fantastic rafting.

There's plenty of great scenery in the Silverton/Durango area, but those towns might not be very accessible this time of year.

I'd say Vail, Aspen, or Steamboat.
