That used to be soo my mother :P ugh. I'm older now so i simply through them myself. (1) Do tampons reason melanoma? No (2) Do tampons cause infertility? No (3) If I did not feel any suffering whilst inserting the tampon, what the ****? Is my hymen even there?? Some ladies break it throughout sporting activities, some are not even born with it. Hymens have nothinggg to do with virginity in any respect. Until you have intercourse, you are a virgin. (4) Do the fibers from tampons that get stuck in you finally come out? (I read that some fibers get caught on the vaginal wall, however do they come off?) no and if they did, sure they'd come out excellent luck

Sounds like your husband really loves you and is looking out for your health and best interest.

There is actually a lot of research that has been done on Tampons and bleached material used for them. Research on Chlorine states that it is a carcinogen. I am severely allergic to bleach and can not use tampons as it makes me ill. Chlorine in my system nearly killed me and paralyzed my feet and hands for 4 years until we figured out what was causing my troubles. I had to detox for 36 days on no food and have my system pumped out to remove the Chlorine that had built up over the years. How was I absorbing the chlorine? Through my bleached out sports socks. Even though I always had them on a second rinse there was still enough chlorine left to effect me. Believe it or not I was using the manufacturers recommendations per wash load.

Sorry, your husband may actually be right.

you're taking advice from your HUSBAND on TAMPONS?????
Is there something wrong with this picture?
Honey, unless your husband has personal experience in using tampons, you should be consulting a doctor on that matter, and not someone who has no personal experience in that area!!!

Don't be a goof!!! And "Cancer"??? What the??

Do more research, there, missy.

I would tell your husband that the air we are breathing can cause cancer. Face it just about anything and everything can cause cancer. There is just no stopping it.

That's not true, unless you left it sitting there for more than 4 hours without replacing a new one. You'll get Toxic Shock Syndrome.

I imagine there are places that sell unbleached. But why don;t we all go in a sterile white room and hold our breath.
