I have got to admit it myself, I never used to care about what race anybody else was as long as they were nice people but now since all the terror plots, I find myself mistrusting anyone who isn't white? I know it's wrong but I do keep my eyes on asians when I am on a bus, train or plain. I do not want to act like this but I suppose this is what the terrorists want for us westerners to live in fear.

Anyone agree or disagree?

I'm afraid you're right. Some of the tabloid newspapers are blatantly racist and actively encourage this by writing provocatively. I have decided to stop reading newspapers for this reason alone. Television isn't quite as bad but they still focus on the bad things rather than the good. Asians as a race don't deserve the bad press they've been receiving just because of a few bad apples.

I make it a level to envision information from international huge so i will have an straightforward attitude of what's occurring everywhere else. The better I study about different u . s . a .'s issues, the better patriotic I grow to be! i imagine diverse individuals hate their u . s . a . becauase they're so ignorant to the topic matters effecting different places. i ask your self what number of people understand that Australia has l. a.-length race riots? You google "insurrection" and the in hardship-free words issues that arise are the l. a. riots, not even the french riots arise. unhappy!

I agree completely. Is it the terrorists that want us to live in fear or does it also suit the agenda of our governement for us to live in fear. For most of us threats of terrorism have been a permanent feature - I no more fear a bomb from a fundamentalist muslim than I did the IRA.

goverments and terrorists are racist because they are viloently and actively seeking to have comtrol over others because of their race or creed.
as far as you not trusting anyone who is not white is something you are responsible for.not anything or anyone else.
as long as you are aware that it is within you and you are being honest about it then you can try and not discriminate against someone because of their race or creed or colour.

lets face it, birds of a feather flock together. this isin't racist , it just means that people are more comfertable with others who are similar. but to really be enlightened we must have compassion, and that means understanding differences, and realize that theres no way to change them.
