This is an example of what the "anti gays" write about the so-called agenda.
(not mine)
“The agenda and vision that we must proudly articulate is that
yes, indeed, we intend to change society.”
–Matt Foreman, president of the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, Nov. 10, “Creating Change” conference
By Peter LaBarbera
When it comes to chutzpah, homosexual activists have it in spades. They work their lavender tushes off revolutionizing the age-old Judeo-Christian definitions of marriage and family; fight for “gay/straight” clubs in middle- and high schools, and homosexuality-affirming lessons for all students–even toddlers; lobby for open homosexuality in the armed forces; oppose marriage-preference adoption laws based on the absurd proposition that a child having two “gay daddies” is no worse off than one having a mother and a father; make outrageous claims that esteemed historical figures like Abe Lincoln were “gay”; and radically reinterpret the Bible to change homosexuality from an abomination to a “gift from God.”
Then they turn around and ridicule the idea that there is a “gay agenda.”
Here’s an entry from lesbian blogger Pam Spaulding:
“The Homosexual Agenda is an elusive document. We’ve been looking around for a copy for quite some time; the distribution plan is so secret that it’s almost like we need a queer Indiana Jones to hunt the master copy down. The various anti-gay forces are certain that we all have a copy and are coordinating a attack to achieve world domination.” –Pam Spaulding
Memo to Pam: you don’t have to risk being chased by a giant boulder in the Amazon to find a copy of that elusive agenda; just click this link for the 1972 Gay Rights Platform. Note the last two demands under “States” in the 1972 document: “Repeal all laws governing the age of sexual consent” and “Repeal all legislative provisions that restrict the sex or number of persons entering into a marriage unit.”
Or try this link for the 1987 (Homosexual) “March on Washington.” No agenda here, other than the calls for:
“The government should provide protection from discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment, public accommodations and education just as protection is provided on race, creed, color, sex, or national origin”;
“Anti-homophobic curriculum in the schools”;
“The government should ensure all public education programs include programs designed to combat lesbian/gay prejudice … Institutions that discriminate against lesbian and gay people should be denied tax-exempt status and federal funding.”
“A massive [federal] AIDS education and prevention program that is explicit, culturally sensitive, lesbian and gay affirming and sex positive”;
“Public and private institutions should support parenting by lesbian or gay couples”;
All people must have access to free abortions and contraceptives on demand regardless of age.” (Strangely, abortion advocacy has long been part of the homosexual activist agenda.)
The truth is that there are multiple homosexual agendas, with the unifying theme that they all endorse the normalization of homosexual perversion (they call it “orientation”) as a “civil right.” The most radical of the large national homosexual groups is the National Lesbian and Gay Task Force (NGLTF), which combines leftist ideology with grassroots organizing. At the NGLTF’s 2006 “Creating Change” conference held in Kansas City, MO, Nov. 8-12, Executive Direct Matt Foreman laid out a seven-point “gay agenda” for the Task Force:
“So here’s that agenda:…” –Matt Foreman

The "gay agenda" is typically defined in conservative circles as a political movement that pushes for legislative change. To a conservative, the perceived threat of such changes in law ripples through many different topics like a snowball effect. In essence, each "pro-homosexual" law passed has larger implications down the road on the conservative base.
For example, legalized same sex marriage has tax implications, which can forcefully alter political platforms during campaigns years later. Appointing conservative judges also becomes more problematic when such laws have to be upheld.
The "agenda" in it's collective form is therefor seen as a broad-stroke assault of conservative politics on multiple levels, even though the individuals behind it often have no particular vendetta and just want to be happy for the most part.
I've been a regular GOP supporter and conservative activist for well over 10 years now, but when it comes to topics like this I normally do not toe the party line. I've had several gay and lesbian roommates over the years and it's extremely difficult for me to call these good friends immoral people. That said, I'm not a religious freak either. In fact, I'm agnostic. But at any rate, many people who oppose the "agenda" do not always do so because of religion or even because of moral opposition. Those types just happen to be the ones holding the bullhorn and get the most attention, just the same as those who go a little overboard with things on the far left side.
We need more moderates on both sides of the isle to handle issues like this.

I've been thinking about that a lot myself lately. I think the words "gay agenda" were thought up by conservatives to make gay people look bad. I mean, if a gay person like yourself can't define the "gay agenda", then it clearly doesn't exist. Also, what exactly would "converting" children do anyway? It's not a religion, where you need people to join so that you can pay the priests with their money, you know? It's so silly.

From the "christian" (read "christianist"...) point of view, a "gay agenda" is seen as a determination on the part of homosexuals to make homosexuality appear a "normal" lifestyle. These people (and I hesitate to even refer to them as Christians, because Christ would never have behaved as they do toward others) are afraid that the world will come to accept homosexuality as just another way of being human. They imagine that homosexuals are making their "lifestyle" appealing to teenagers and stirring sympathy and understanding in impressionable young minds. It's so stupid, isn't it? "Agenda"...just because gay men and women would like to live in peace and understanding with the heterosexual population, the "Christians" see them as a threat. It's just ignorance and fear creating hate that is half-masked by the banner of religion. Same old, same old. Most people are sane and compassionate enough to know there's no agenda involved. It's just that the so-called Christians who spout off about it spout off very LOUDLY.
Isn't it funny how the most hateful people are always the noisiest?
Congrats on your 20 yr relationship. I hope you guys have lots more happy years together.

I think the first paragraph of Prismcat38's answer about nailed it. The second is obviously a pack of vitriol. The gay agenda as she described it seems to me absolutely unobjectionable. But then I'm a Canadian living in Europe...

the agenda is something invented by the rabid right. They want to portray us as some kind of organized group bent on overthrowing conservative values.
What is real is the work of nuts like Karl Rove or J. Fallwell who are so power hungry they will tell any lie.

I think it all depends on who you ask. a homophobic might say the agenda is to "convert" as many of their kids as possible. A political homosexual might consider the agenda to be advancing "the cause" or rights/equality movement for homosexuals.
All I know is....I didn't get that memo either!
