Well because they think they know more than anyone else. So when someone asks a question that the answer is obvious people tent to go off on them. Is not their fault on not knowing. Well people like to do it mostly in the Internet because they know they can't do it in the real world.

I think. And that might be where the whole theory starts to unravel. By the way, good question, thank you.
Um, people engage in attacks on others on the Internet because they can hide behind avatars, pictures, and made up names.
(There's no risk of disclosure there).
They can be as petty, and unpleasant as they please, and there's no risk (as I said).
You can't fight back, when they do it. (So, de facto, you're the victim, they've got the power, they win).
They don't want to face the possibility of the consequences of their actions, so they lash out in a 'safe' environment. It's cowardice. It's a consequence of allowing people who are insecure, and have poor social skills to behave badly, with no repercussions.
Welcome to the World of Tomorrow! (Delivered in deep, booming, cynical voice).
This is just another facet in the great shimmering crystal of human unpleasantness. It's up there with any of the intolerances, or isms you might care to think of.
If you want to be really trendy, put it on the same pedestal as Hate Crime.
Let's sit back and see how many people criticise the living daylights out of that statement.

It actually gives some people a good feeling inside to actually conduct this kind of behavior. This happens with maturity of a person or psychologically. One day they may just grow up, but it's been my lesson that people never change.

I only behave that way when I think it's justified. Some people are asking for it with their inflammatory questions. They attacked first.

You may find that people in this category are unable to express themselves anywhere else...so they "vent" on the 'net. I doubt they would be as rude, were they to meet you "face to face". Ignoring such attacks is definitely the best policy...otherwise you are simply "feeding the trolls"...

I think it may have something to do with the fact that some people may feel more "power" because they are able to be abusive without anyone knowing who they are. Sad, isn't it.
