In Neb, Minn, and SD... High school wrestlers have spread Herpes while wrestling each other. Minn has canceled all the wrestling matches this week until they can test all the kids. THIS IS NOT A JOKE! Below is a link to the local ABC affiliate with the full story, this is the most discusting story ive ever heard. Thank god I don't wrestle.

Can the kids/parents sue for this? (this isn't like getting a broken leg playing football)

The victims could probably sue, if they could determine who is responsible for giving them herpes. Odds are they would sue the opposing wrestler who transferred the STD, the school system that hosted the match, and the governing body that did not provide appropriate safety regulations to protect wrestlers against such disease.

I don't know if it's a winner or not, but that's probably how it would work.

yes yes yes..
especially if you have tons of medical records.. you can and should!
I am pretty sick and tired of these ignorant people that allow kids to get hurt at school by not enforcing rules and preventative "medicine" emotionally and psychially..

my kids are never going to wrestle, thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I hope the state pays for all the medications for this, and they should be able to sue also
