xbox 360 question must answer and must read help!?

ok so i want to play xbox live on my 360 what are all the thing i need to hook it up?

1. A 360.
2. High speed internet connection, DSL minimum.
3. Ethernet cord or Wireless Adapter
4. Router (not necessary) or Wireless router (if you want wireless connection)
5. Credit card or Time Card (I think you will need to enter your credit card number when you subscribe to XBL gold membership.
6. Cable modem

Basically an internet connection and either ethernet cable or xbox 360 wifi adapter.

The easiest way to get online would be to hard wire it with ethernet cable and connect it with a ethernet hub or router. Configuration is pretty simple and the xbox 360 will walk you right through it.

The same is true for the wifi adapter however depending on how you have your wireless network set up you may have to configure your 360 to access your network.
