It's not plat and not round as some suggested. In fact our planet has the shape of an ellipsoid. That's because the constant spinning creates a force that presses the 2 poles.

I don't know about the world but some people I know are pretty "flat".

I know for a fact it is not round. When I come out of the bar and pass out on the ground I am in the same spot in the morning. Now if the world was round and I had passed out, I would probably have rolled a couple of blocks until blocked by something.
I am so smart I impress myself sometimes.
