The amount varies and they need to start making it legal to euthanize people. Jails are full so criminal walk free among us. Yet the shelters kill to make more room.

Millions! Spay, neuter IS very important, but just as important is; people must ADOPT and quit $hopping for a Dog! Breeder$ must also spay and neuter their Dogs. We really don't need any more, honest! People just think they are too good for a homeless "used" Dog and need a brand new one, made "just for them", be it de$igner or whatever. THOSE are the people who support puppymills and fill up these "garbage" cans with dead Dogs.

i just read an article about this last week, it said in the USA 800 animals are put to death every hour
that's why everyone should spay and neuter their pets!

More than half of all shelter animals end up being euthanized because they don't get adopted fast enough.

i worked at rspca and they would put down at least 40 cats/dogs a day

More than I care to know. That's why you should always spay/neuter your pets unless they are show dogs.
