Why do they wear tight clothes? Isn't that kind of "unmanly" in some people's eyes?

they were tight clothes because when fighting for justice they have to be fast on their feet and they have time for clothes that are binding or that are gonna snag on something-plus their outfit is snazzy...im sure it is unmanly is someone's eyes but not mine

They are superheroes. They don't spend time to "design" their clothing but to save the world. So, everyone follows superman wearing tight. But they do realize that its silly to wear their underwear outside.

In Marvel, they are composed of unstable molecules. That allows for them to adjust to movements and power fluctuations.
DC uses tights, to show their muscles.

Not all of them do, some, like Iron Man, wear heavy armor.

they wear tight clothes so that they can jump over buildings and catch villains easily. it does,nt make them feel so heavy

alot of them fly or jump or swing on a web. so they want something smooth to assist them as they zoom on the way to rescue damsels, cats and other people in distress.

they gotta have some room to move....whatta bout 'Wonder Woman'...??..or 'Cat Woman'....??.. or The Bionic Woman, she had clothes that were very comfortable looking...
