Anything that is not dishwasher safe. Just be careful not to use dawn dish soap as something to wash your dishes in it. It will really bubble up and out of the dishwasher and could ruin the dishwasher. I lived in an apartment that someone did that and the dishwasher didn't work right since then. Be careful with non stick pots and pans cuz if the water pressure is too strong in the dishwasher, it actually take off the non stick stuff on the pans.....had it happen once.

Hi, You should not put anything in the dishwasher with wooden handles, ie, knives. Many plastic storage dishes are not dishwasher safe. The cheaper plastics melt and I had some Tupperware lids that shrunk and did not fit after going through the dishwasher cycle. My mother would not put any of her good silver through the dishwasher, but I am not sure why.

Probably anything with batteries! Or perhaps anything that is not dishwasher safe! No children allowed!

I put everything in unless the plastic is really thin and could melt in the hot water. I even put my pots and pans in even though they say that wears them out quicker. I even put in my pet dishes, dirty plastic toys.. etc

Anything that can't withstand at least 150 degrees, can't get wet, or you can't keep from being blown around by the jets of water when that thing is running.
