I have Blockbuster Online and it sucks pretty bad so far. I'll send in 3 DVDs and it will receive all 3 DVDs on different days somehow. Not sure how. Then it takes another day or even two to send the next one on the list. Is Netflix this bad?

We have Netflix and love it....

it usually takes about 3 days to get a new movie....

Example: If I was to mail out a movie on Monday, Netflix would get it on Tuesday and we would get a new movie on Wednesday...

Sometimes it takes longer but I think that has more to do with the postal service then Netflix....

We have never really had a problem with scratched DVD's.. on the rare occasion we might have a movie that doesn't work but that could be said for renting movies from a video store too....

I've had netflix.. My mom has blockbuster. I like how you can return to blockbuster and return the movies there (but they may not send it out on time for you.. it's cheaper to wait until they have a certain number to send out) but they also let you grab a movie from teh store to watch to satiate you while you wait.

Netflix was great. It was always on time. The only time it wasn't, it was stolen from my mailbox. I always had the movie the day after I sent it. I mean.. it depends on how far you live away from the distribution center. On netflix's website they tell you where the closest center is to you. Mine was actually 2 hours away.

Pretty much.

These mail-away DVD programs are not good as far as timelines. Netflix has even been accused of purposely slowing service for people who rent a lot of movies - effectively limiting their rentals.

Their advantage is in the broad availability of movies compared to any store. That's why we use Netflix.

Most of the time you will get them pretty fast. The problem is that a lot of them are scratched. I don't use Netflix anymore because of this.
