Mesozoic Era (begenning ~ 250 m.y ago) saw the raise of dinosaurs. The jurassic era is from 213-144 million years ago.

Mesozoic Era has been divided into three periods, Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous.

Sorry don't have a chart in front of me. The periods of time were originally defined by the fossils we could identify within the rocks, and only later where the dates discovered. So the longest period of time is when there were few live forms to divide it, The Proterozoic from 4600 million years till approx 650 million years. In the same way the shortest period of time is the one with most fossils we can class, this is the recent period from about two million years ago till today.
With luck some nice person may type in the geological periods and dates if you ask :-)
