Whole words were missing !! I could barely read anything on the page. I have tried to go to Yahoo help but no help I could find.
I would put my curser on empty spaces and some things would pop up. Would this be the servers fault or mine somehow?
Please if anyone can help me, or give me a clue to what is happening.......

well, it depends
is yahoomail the only site that you visit that's "a bit sketchy"?
if it is, it's prolly with the site itself, and not with your computer.
i've experience the same thing, but with downloading an attached file.
i think it's not a big deal.. must be just with the site.
but maybe a faster pc would help. (try upgrading if you're desperate)

did you get a lil box that poped up saying this page is encrypted, if so you need to update your exploerer files so you can read the page. do your windows updates. sounds to be an internet explorer problem that can easily be fixed with the updates. there are more update than the ones that are automatically installed. when you goto update, choose custom and it will show other window updates and also driver updates. you can choose wich of these you want to install. if there are driver update, install them...
