okay you know how when people answer a question there is a little thumbs up and thumbs down symbol for each person's answer...
my question is this... how do i know if any of MY answers given have recieved a thumbs down?
and what happens when i click the thumbs up symbol for someone else's answer? for example: you answer my question, i am reading your answer and i click thumbs up symbol. what happens? do you get something? do i get something? what is the point of the thumbs is really what i want to know.

do i lose points if someone gives me a thumbs down? how do i know if i got a thumbs down and how do i know who gave it to me?
whats going on with the fre@king thumbs?
this is making me angry because im so confused over it. i know that is silly, but i just wanna know about the thumbs.......

nowadays, if someone really hated your question, they'd type out: "THUMBS DOWN!" people do this because Yahoo removed the option to down questions a few weeks ago.
regarding your answers and thumbs:
you can see if you got any downs or ups if you go back and look at your answer.. . you cant see WHO gave them to you, but you CAN see if you got them. there's a little box- with a pic of a thumbs up, down.. if you got either one of them, you'll see the # you got. for example: i,so far, got TWO thumbs down. i know that because i see a # 2 infront of the thumbs down icon. .. you cant give yourself a thumbs up or down, just others, and nothing happens when you give any. if your answer is chosen as the best and you have a couple thumbs up, you'll get a point for each one.
if your answer is chosen as the best, and you HAVE a thumbs down, then i dont think any points are deducted.

The only way you will know if you are getting a thumbs down, is if you have a good idea of your points and they go down and if they do, you have to go back over your answers.
As for favourite shape, it would be square because I like things all equal.

I think if you give someone a thumbs up they get a point
If you go to your own avatar and click it and go to your answers you should be able to see if you have any thumbs down there.
that easy
My favourite shape would have to be a sphere, ball, globe, orb shape, so nice and rollable.
