Bush made a statement about Venezuela's government being a deteriorating democracy to support an observation in which he said he saddened by the fact that a lot of capitalistic democracys were starting to lean more and more to socialism.
So Chavez just starts whining on and on about Bush. He sounded like he was reading off a list of things anti-administration people say about Bush....
"If he had any dignity, the president of the United States would quit. The U.S. president doesn't have the political or moral capacity to govern,"
"...should be tried for "war crimes" committed by the U.S. military across the globe." (in regards to Bush and Negroponte)
I mean, he doesnt even refute Bush and defend his democracy by giving an alternative opinion...
All he does is say everything the anti-administration wacko's say about Bush just to make him mad even though he has no idea what he's talking about...
How childish is that? really?

Hugo Chavez is just another Communist thug who cloaks his oppression in the clothing of populist generosity. Communism always works on paper, then fails during that crucial 'implementation' stage.
American Marxists like the eternally unelectable Dennis Kucinich long for the type of revolution now being forced on Venezuela. They all think that Communism hasn't worked because the right people haven't tried it yet.
Communism must always be administered by force, with any dissent publicly crushed. Don't think so? Chavez was just voted emergency powers so he could fix the country of Venezuela. Why? Aren't the Venezuelans uniformally grateful for the wonders of Marxism?
As freedom dies to the sound of rapturous applause, prepare for freedom to really take it on the chin this time, as Chavez imprisons and murders to effect his revolution. In a couple of decades, perhaps, it will be up to a future American People to ease the human toll of these 'great leaps forward' that will lead to inevitable human tragedy, as Communism always brings to the masses.
That people in the US actually consider their President an oppressor only shows that America has had it for too good for too long and that the media have completely lost their minds. It's like describing poverty in America. Only in America do those in poverty talk on cell phones and watch CNN on big screen TV's in homes with two cars out front. Americans don't know what they have.

Chavez makes more sense than Bush ever did, or ever will. I don`t like the way he slings mud around, that is childish coming from a head of state. In regards to Negroponte he is spot on. if you take a look at Chavez`s public record to date, he is moving his social reforms in the right direction, whether it be under the wing of a capitalist democracy or socialism, helping people improve their basic standards of life is no bad thing. All Bush seems to do is put fear and opression into the hearts of people where as Chavez inspires hope. I know Venezuelan`s would rather be happy under a socialist regime than crapping themselves under a democratic one. But i`m sure democracy will arrive at their door sooner rather than later.

What should we expect from a Castro wannabe? Chavez believes that he will be the Simon Bolivar of South America for the 21st century (considered to be the George Washington of South America). I read something yesterday that someone predicts he will be assassinated by a political insider within 5 years. He's one reason why we need to work on the illegal immigration problem. He probably has terrorist squads ready to hit our southern borders.

If I believed Chavez was for real I'd support him, but I don't trust anyone in government any longer. I think all of them are out to start a global conflict to reduce population and centralize power.
I believe Bush and that Iranian President drink beer together and laugh as they play the people like banjos.
I really need to get a grip. All of this WAR CRAP is driving me crazy.

'Childish' is an understatement..... Chavez is a dictator... he's leading the country and formulating its policies to suit his own political agenda instead of the good of the nation. revenues from sales of its oil resources has been squandered away doing the unneccessary just to oppose the US.
