If you pay attention to negative things in life, like the stupidity of people, you'll begin to rob yourself of much enjoyment in your own life. It's true, there are a lot of dumb people, but be realistic, there's many intelligent ones out there. Could you design a space craft, or have you discovered a cure for some disease lately? I'd say spend more time focusing on the positive things in life, and helping to promote the good, the great and the grand, and maybe along the way you'll inspire some dumb soul to try harder, do better, and improve themselves. And perhaps, you possess higher intelligence than a lot of people you know. Then you're lucky! Appreciate your advantage and try to lead by example that others might learn how to become better themselves! Maybe they've just not set their sights high enough! There are so many reasons why we're all so different from one another, but you can't improve a situation by delving on the defects. Counteract stupidity with your intelligence. You just may wake up some dull soul to find greater personal pride in themselves!

ok but it seems that the world of stupid people you are refering to reside in your phone. Do what I did. Get rid of your phone system... you can actually live without it... and well I might add. If you have to have a phone get a cell and get on the no-call list for telemarketers... it's easy to sign up for and free.
