When you look at brown eyes closely, they are in fact, very pretty. Since brown eyes are so dark, it is rather difficult to see all the detail, unless you get very close. So from a normal viewing distance, they just appear dark and brown. I also believe with the earthy tone of peoples' skin, combined with the darker hair, brown eyes just blend in with the over all color of a person's body.
Blue eyes on the other hand, pop out. They are a very different contrast to everything about a person's face. Blue eyes are generally found on people with a lighter hair color, who generally have fairer skin, but they're still basically earth toned. Blue eyes are so much different than any other color on a person's body, they just stand out and are brilliant.
I believe this is why when you see a person with darker hair and a darker complexion with blue eyes, it even stands out more. Carmen Electra, Courtney Cox, etc. Google them and pay attention to the dark hair + blue eyes.
I would also attribute a small part of it, to the sheer fact that blue is different from the norm. That's why Green, Silver and White eyes are so amazing to us, we rarely see them.
I think the same would be true for Purple, Red or Orange eyes, if they existed.
So in short, my answer is the contrast between blue and every other color on our body.

In ancient Rome and Renaissance Italy, where women mostly had dark hair and eyes, the fairer colors of the north were considered exotic and therefore desireable. Women used to bleach their hair in the sunlight with lemon juice in an attempt to emulate those colorations.
Today, recessive genes such as blonde hair and blue eyes are less and less often seen. I treasure my fair skin and blue eyes, personally, and am glad I was lucky enough to have them.

i'm not particular, I style of have a similar situation. not with questioning any particular attributes (like hair colour/eye colour etc.) are better effective than my attributes yet I do evaluate myself to different chicks a lot and that i'm not particular why. i do not imagine i'm grotesque or something, i for my area imagine i'm exceptionally lovable. i imagine it has a lot to do with television and what not as cliche as that sounds regardless of the indisputable fact that the way television shows and flicks and whatnot portray women as antagonistic to adult males is bigoted and that i imagine we sense rigidity to look a particular way and if we do not look best then adult adult males are going to be be disgusted via us or something. It sucks. a lot. yet it really is how that is, with slightly of success it receives better effective for you with age, i understand the older i have gotten the better tender i have grow to be in my personal epidermis yet i do not imagine i will ever quite sense thoroughly beautiful. i understand that whasn't a lot help, purely concept try to understand you at the instantaneous are not the in hardship-free words one. do purely not forget that existence is short and useful and there are quite a number of better major issues than how we glance and if this Shawn or any of the different adult adult males that are going to go back alongside don't love you for then you definately they weren't in any respect well worth some time contained in the first position. solid success :]

I don't know? Good question. I think green eyes are prettier than blue. And really dark eyes are prettier than any other color. I just love piercing dark eyes.

I have brown eyes and I personally think EMERALD GREEN is the prettiest eye color. Just my opinion.

Blue is light and innocent while other colors are darker and considered less attractive by some. I have crystal blue eyes and big pupils and everyone says I look like a puppy hehe. ^_^
