To be fair, winning administration thought him to be a hero after sacrificing his life to arouse revolt against 18-year rule of President Ferdinand Marcos. Paseo-ayala is the center of most wealthy commercial center of the Philippines wherein cream of the society frequents so that they can witness the victory of th party who put Marcos into exile.

For importance. Paseo-Ayala is a status symbol. It defeats the purpose of people power. They should put the statue in the middle of the sugar cane field of Hacienda Luisita as a symbol of oppression of the farmers in the hacienda.
