Do polyester clothing material shrink when placed in the dryer?

No, not really. If it has any rayon in it beware though. It shrinks like crazy. Polyester dries so quickly you don't really need to dry it thoroughly. Put it in and let it toss around for a minute or so, then take it out and hang it.

No, they melt and catch fire.
