If you receive a gift (for whatever reason), and it's not to your liking. What do you do? Do you re-gift it/ sell it/ return it/ accept it, etc?

i would accept it and keep it. its the thought that counts!
well, to be honest,(like you told me to be) it would also depend on who it came from, too. if its from someone close or special to me, i would hold it dear regardless of what it is.
ive gotten alot of gifts that i wouldnt get myself, yet i still keep them!! like i said, its the thought that matters most to me!

I always accept it and say thank you - sometimes I re-gift it if I think the other person will really like it

If it's not to my liking and I have the gift reciept I return it- if it can't be returned I re-gift or stick it in the closet!

I don't have enough room in my house for clutter. I will usually try to exchange it for something I like or can use, but I would consider regiifting or selling it on eBay. Whatever I do, it will be discrete so I do not hurt the giver's feelings.

I always return it and explain to 'em why I dont like it. So, they would have a clue if they ever want to buy gifts again.

I throw it away after I am at home and alone. I will accept it and be thankful when I receive it. After I throw it away and they ask about it, I say it's in my mom's bedroom lol.

2 Funny i asked the same question,after christmas.I have re-gift it (shame on me) and i have also taken it back, and i have kept it. But never sold it........

I stiil accept it and later give it to another person who appreciates it more than I do.

I try to return it and then if I can't I donate it to a local charity.

Usually accept it...unless it is so horrible, this ugly shirt from my husband once.
