So we grow old to the point we are no longer able to use our body and become vegetable but our mind is alert. And for the people who are stricken with AIDS or incurable diseases and live with it for eternity? How's that if there is not such thing as death? Would you like that?

There's a very good movie that helps you to realize that living forever isn't so glorious, it's called, "Tuck Everlasting". I enjoyed the movie greatly. After I saw it I knew that I didn't want to live forever. Maybe if we could just stretch it out a little or even get a guaranteed 100 years. But it's not like that. It does make you think though. Best Wishes.

It would be nice only if good health and mobility and independence in routine life, are guaranteed! Alert minds can exeret power to generate joy and cheer around and ensure lively life, even in old age, as long as oldies are goldies in terms of health, mobility and independent means for getting on in life! In fact, norms for old age should change: old age should commence at the age of around 1000 years or so! Wow, what a dream! And, no overcrowding, because more than half the population would have migrated to other planets and in the place of globalisation of today, there would be 'universalisation' or 'cosmicalisation' of things that go with life and life styles! Long live people's imagination and dream power!

If you are young you would not know how aging wears the body. the purpose for living wears out as does the body. We would be aliens if we didn't die. And wouldn't need food for survival as the population would be so large it wouldn't work. Maybe our creater knew all good things must come to an end. all of nature works that evolution way. In Hollywood no one really dies.
What if we really dont die in spirit? What if that spirit energy just cruises through the universe for others to tune in and enjoy the connection.

If we'll be in the vegetation state, then what's the point of living? You live and then die, that's life for ya. It is what we make of it (at least in developed countries). Death is essential, even though it is sad, for religious and for practical reasons. Some believe in reincarnation, or heaven, or hell, or nothing....and in the practical, how in the world would we get to have computers if mideval kings and enquisators still lived on this world?

it will be so boring ..can't even think of it ??is this some
childish idea.. or child is going to become the father of all.. death is a usual process as that of birth..if thr is birth thr should be death otherwise thr shouldn't be any more birth ..nature has to be stable ,unstable things will try to become stable by avoiding some unnecessary content ...nature has no other option than avoiding humen...so consider death and birth as some natural process then there won't be this kind of question..

Sounds like a version of personal hell. I do not want to live past a day when I stop enjoying life.

Sometimes Death is a relief. After a funeral of an ill friend one is quoted as saying "he/she is in a better place now" . In actuality it is truth.
