Okay. Its been cold outside lately. Its winter for goodness sakes. So, I was wondering. Would it look strange if I wore black leggings under a pair of jeans with slits at the knees (sorry I forget what its called my mind fails me at the moment)? The jeans are lighter blue and well I was just curious if it would look peculiar to you in particular if you saw it.

It's not strange at all, it's a hot look. You could even play it up with fishnets or coloured tights!

Well it just sounds peculiar to me. Why would you want to wear jeans that have slits at the knees if it is that cold out side. I would wear regular jeans with the black leggings if it would fit, or even flannel underwear if it is that cold. I would go for staying warm vs looking great. Just my own opinion.

I used to wear fishnets underneath my ripped jeans. it looked really neat I think and I got a lot of compliments on it as well so I am going to say go for the leggings or do try some fish nets

No, I think this would look fine especially since its cold out. Its would make sense to wear leggings underneath jeans.

Go for it girl you are probably freezing your buns off! I'm in OK and it's been below 30 degrees... They will look fine, I always see girls wearing them around campus. Wear them with a shirt that matches (black), it'll look put together, or get some black accessories and you'll look hot! Have fun go for it and keep warm!

I live in Alaska, and that is actually kind of a social norm . But Alaskans aren't really known for our style.

i think its okay..the trend is pretty old tho...if ur tryna cope with the weather while still following the trend..try flirty skirts with stockins(not tites) and cute flat boots...or casual dresses with cute hoodies.. =]
