Let's try an experiment
How about you kill yourself and see how the world changes without you in it.
I bet no one would even notice.

You were born because your parents had intercourse and were kind enough not to abort you.
The world as a whole is selfish so to it, you make no difference. You do make a difference to those who are close to you, like those nice parents who didn't abort you.
Why do animals keep living even though they cannot reason and are non- sentient beings? They operate purely on instinct. They eat, sleep, pee, poop, have sex, repeat. You're just focussed on the wrong things! Being alive isn't about money or how you spend it or who gets it all! Life is about doing the things that animals can't, like falling in love or figuring out how a clock works or pondering why you're alive!
By the way, God IS indeed letting you die, but he promises that if you do things His way to the best of your ability- He'll bring you back! ;)

Who told or lied to you that the world would not make a difference if you died or while you are alive? God does not or did not create us for nothing. He does not have time to waste for things like that. We were created with potential, with a purpose, to make a difference in the world. If you did not make a difference then you have wasted your life and have not achieved the goals set for you. God loves you and believe me the reason you were created should mean something.
Do you know when your parents made you and the sperm (respectfully) was swimming to the egg, how many potential "babies" were going to come out? A lot. You didn't make it to the egg by chance, no you made it cause God chose you, he saw the potential in you and that's why you're alive today. So appreciate life, seek God and your purpose will be let known to you. God loves you. You're not a waste.

What's stopping you from making a difference? You don't have to make a difference in the "world." Why not just make a difference in one person's life?
Volunteer to be a mentor.
or a child advocate for an abused child
or a Big Brother
or serve meals at the local shelter
or tell stories to the children at the shelter
Or build houses with Habitat for Humanity
or volunteer with the Red Cross...
or the local wildlife rehab...
or where ever...
You'll enrich someone else's life while enriching your own.
Make a difference in one life at a time...

I think that you have the answer right in front of you. YOU. Don't focus on you, but focus on what is around you. The more you look at yourself the more you will keep asking why me. I say stop looking at yourself and go out and help others. Go out and do something that you won't get thanked for but will do some good for someone else. You will see that the more you do to help others and to help this world, the more you will enjoy what you are and what you have to offer.

Well, you were born so that you could make a difference.
Not that you have to become a Bill Gates or a MKL or anything like that, but you do make a difference.
To your neighbors that you say hi to
To your friends and family
To the dust bunnies under your bed
God made you for a reason, try to find it.
LIVE your dreams, who says DIE your dreams? it just doesn't make any sense.
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land in the stars."

Basically, the world would go on without any one of us, so don't zero in on just yourself, and say what's the point? The point is for you to discover the point for yourself, to yourself and because of yourself! Not to mention the people in your immediate life, that very likely want you around and need you to be around. Not one of us will stop the world from going around, but you, in your inner circle, have great influence and your existence surely is special to someone other than yourself. We each have our own "worlds" that surround us and within these worlds, you are important and yes, if you weren't here, someone would suffer your loss. If not, then you must be living a very self-centered life and not going out of your way for anyone! We also find meaning for our lives with whom we share our lives with, from our friends, to our mates, to our pets to however large we want to define this special circle of relationships that exist for each individual on this planet. It's up to you how rich and full of meaning your life is going to be, dependent on your efforts to communicate your best intentions to others and to yourself! So please realize you do have a whole world around you in which you have significance. Don't misinterpret this not making a difference to the world. In one little way that's true, but in a really big way, you are very wrong in viewing that statement as you've explained it. Uh-uh! You were born to discover what the purpose of life is for you to the fullest personal potential that you are able to uncover, and along the way, to find meaningful others to enhance your existence and add even deeper meaning that cannot be accomplished without relating to others.

Your life is what you make it. It is up to you to do something worthwhile with your life. You can do it, too - wondering about it is a good start, and a step that many people never take.
Have at it!
