its not a panty hose, its a neoprine brace to support his muscle it keeps his muscles "warm" and prevents it from stiffening up.

In his mind he's a warrior because as soon as someone bumps him slightly he fly's across the court. He feels tough with the pantyhose.

haha its not pantyhose. its a shooting sleeve that a lot of players wear on their shooting arm to keep it warm.
