Sorry, I am uncircumsized

What I am trying to say is that my penis is still the way it was when I was born, I cannot erect enough to see the glans. When I erect fully the forskin is still there and doesn't move.

It's normal for the foreskin to be attached to the glans all the way through puberty, abeit quite rare. By now your foreskin should be retractable. If not and you're sure it's not phimosis (where the foreskin opening is too narrow/tight to be retracted), then it might be due to adhesions. Adhesions usually break on their own, if you just move your foreskin around a bit it might break them (usually painless).

If you want to be sure, you can see a doctor; there's a procedure where they separate the adhesion manually and afterwards you'll be fine. I don't know if the procedure hurts, but it's probably uncomfortable, but recovery should be quick and simple. Check the links to make sure it's not phimosis and for more info.

The foreskin should be retractable to the base of the glans, to the point where it is attached around the penis. Sometimes it can be attached in a line down the glans, which should be looked at professionally, because if you have this you may tear at this point during intercourse.

If you want to see the head just pull the skin back. No contraptions need be involved, just your fingers, simple as flipping a light switch. And yes, it's supposed to stay on there after you reach puberty, not fall off. What country where they don't teach sex ed in school did you say you're from?

You have adhesions between your foreskin and your penis head. This is serious and you must have them broken in order to be able to fully expose the groove behind your penis head. Better still, you really should get circumcised. Circumcised men enjoy better hygiene, comfort, appearance to women, self-esteem and both they and their female partners experience FAR better sexual sensation without that blanket of skin preventing proper intimate contact between the sexual organs. Do yourself and your future girlfriends a favout - get circumcised. There are no disadvantages to being circumcised and it should be routine for all men.

It's completely unnecessary for you to have him circumcised. I'm not circumcised and have never had any problems or complaints. I actually prefer it. I'm against the whole idea of infant circumcision without a medical reason because it's taking away the rights of the boy to make that decision himself. I also believe that it reduces sensitivity and sexual pleasure later in life and makes it more difficult to masturbate (which was why it got popular to begin with). There are no legitimate reasons for doing this to an infant. They don't even do this in Europe or Asia (unless it's for religious reasons), and in some countries like Norway and Germany, it's illegal without a medical reason for doing it. All of the so called benefits to circumcision are blown way out of proportion and when you put things into perspective you realize that it doesn't make any since at all. Pediatricians don't even recommend circumcision anymore. The only potential benefits to circumcision are a decreased chance of getting a urinary tract infection as an infant and a decreased risk of aquiring HIV virus through unprotected sex as an adult. Infants don't have unprotected sex so that one shouldn't factor into the decision at all and even if it was, circumcision is not an effective means of protection from STD's. As far as UTI's go, girls are more likely to get them than boys are. Even an uncircumcised boy only has a 1% chance of getting one. So that's not a good reason to circumcise either. Chances are, leaving him intact is not going to lead to "infections" and it's not really anymore hygienic either. As an infant it's actually easier to care for if he's not circumcised because you don't have take care of the wound or do anything at all but wipe clean. The foreskin doesn't even retract until later in childhood anyway and by then it's a simple matter of telling him to pull the skin back and wash it in the shower. It takes about 10 seconds! So don't believe all of the "it's cleaner", "it's healthier" crap. It's just a load of bull! In other words, leave the body as nature intended. Here are some of the reasons why people think circumcision should be done and the actual FACTS to go with them: 1. Circumcision lowers the chances of a male infant aquiring a Urinary Tract Infection UTI in the first few years of life from 1% to .001%. However, 1% only means 1 out of 100 boys will ever get this and female infants will get UTI's much more often than males will, but we don't circumcise them. In the grand scheme of things, UTI's are really a non-issue and an invalid reason to enforce routine circumcision. 2. Some studies have shown that circumcision reduces the chances of aquiring HIV through unprotected sex. However, other studies have recently contradicted this and in addition infants don't usually have unprotected sex, furthermore nobody should be. Condoms are the only effective way of protecting against HIV and STD's and circumcision does not decease chances of contracting other STD's. 3. Most Americans find a circumcised penis more asthetically pleasing since the majority of American men have been circumcised for so long. This isn't true however in Europe for example where circumcision is very rare and considered "different". Plus, since only half of all newborns are being circumcised in America today, by the time he was old enough for it to matter, that issue would have likely dissappeared alltogether. 4. Circumcision prevents phimosis (a condition where the foreskin is too tight to be retacted). Phimosis is not a life threatening problem. It's a very rare and pretty minor condition to begin with and there are many other (much easier and less radical) treatments for it than foreskin amputation. People that justify this surgery as "preventative maintenance" for an issue that is likely never to occur in the first place are just as bad as someone that would champion an appendectimy on infants to prevent them from getting appendicitis when they get older. Next it will be routine mastectomies for girls to prevent them from getting breast cancer. It's really ridiculous when you think about it. 5. A circumcised penis is easier to keep clean than an uncircumcised penis because smegma can't collect underneath the foreskin. Despite that, cleaning an uncircumcised penis is as simple as retracting the foreskin and washing in the shower, it literally takes about 10 seconds! Oh the heartache! Most boys will actually find that it feels pretty good cleaning that particular spot, maybe that's why people want to get rid of it! In any case this is another non issue assuming that the boy is taught proper hygeine. 6. Circumcision removes many specialized nerve cells in the penis and exposes the glans to friction which causes desensitization. Depending on your perspective this can be either a good thing or a bad thing. Pro circumcision people will tell you that less sensitivity is good to prevent premature ejaculation. Ant

Yes, the foreskin has to be attached to something so why not the head of your penis. I am uncircumcised and I love it because it is much easier to masturbate and the head of my penis is protected when not in use.

Perfectly normal use some lube that will help you fully retract or try some gentle stretching exercises on your foreskin.
