It's his job and Im sure he's taking saftey precations.

Just think if he was doing something else...there are always risks in everything...so if he was a driver of some sort he could have a car accident or if he was a office worker he could still have an accident at work!

So you sitting at home stressing isnt going to do any good now is it?

I understand you lost your mum and you think the world of your guy, but relax a little and let him keep bringing home a paycheque...you making yourself sick with worry is not going to make him any safer while at work now is it?

There is nothing you can do if this is the only way that he can support both of you. You can always ask him to get a safer job. But you have to remember that anything can happen. You need to work on your anxiety and do not let it rule your life. I know it is easy to let it do just that. My father passed away in 03 and since then I have been so scared to lose another person that I care about. I worry about my fiance when he goes to work and while we away from eachother. But lately it has gotten better because I have worked on my anxiety. You should try to talk to him about your worries, and then I would try to talk to someone about your anxiety. It is important that you take care of this because it can begin to rule your life. Do not let it take you that far because then life will be almost unbareable. I hope everything works out for you!

First off if you keep worrying it is going to make you crazy second he would not be up there if he did not know what he is doing..do not worry ok just kiss him goodbye in the morning and tell him you love him and that will make you feel better also get a hobby and keep your mind busy

Your love and dependency are clouding your thinking. It doesn't seem healthy to me, based on what you have said. Fear of losing someone to the point that it adversely affects your life is a problem. You need to separate yourself from him, not physically, but emotionally and concentrate on you a bit more. Only when you are whole can you truly appreciate others and they you. I would recommend therapy and extracurricular activities that do not involved your mate. Good luck and God bless...

there is nothing to worry about, even though he is a roofer he has safety equipment that help him from falling, isually a safety harness hooked up to a rope and tied to the chimney, very few roofers have accidents in which they die

Does he know how you feel about this? Maybe you two should look at what it would take for him to take up a new trade. Don't know anything about your area, but where I am there are lots of other jobs that pay as well as roofing.

my boyfriend works construction he comes home and tells me about how he is always having to be on the roof because no one else will do it and how it is scary. Make sure your man has good gripping shoes and let him know how much you care about him so he is sure to be careful!
