Are there any people of any race who do not try to excuse their bad behaviour? Is any race or ethnicity completely guilt free?
I am really curious.
Oh, uhm, by the way, I am Rromani so I am not sticking up for "whites" because I am one.

Looking at your question I wonder ...do I see a little guilt? Or is it discriminatory? The sad truth is that if one reads the history of any given race or ethnic group one can find evidence of rationalizing and justification for unseemly behavior. look at the ethnic cleansing by Pol Pot. The religious fighting between Muslims and Christians. The genocidal deaths perpetrated by Africans against other Africans. What about the racial hatred of South East Asians towards other South East Asians?
So yes! Whites do attempt to justify their "evil", but no more so than anyone else.

Well there are many right wing fringe groups who think the KKK should be glorified and also think Hitler had the right idea, but in general most people today are thoroughly and painfullly aware of European and US racism toward many groups throughout the world. We do accept this as our heritage and our trying to move on. The difficulty with moving on lies with those who want us to keep giving reparations for and apologizing for the past. And the fact is, we weren't there. We were not the perpetrators.

That's not white people, it's all people. There is cruelty, violence, imperialism, slavery and evil in the history of every race, religion and geographical area in the entire world. Africans, East Asians and Middle Easterners don't exactly have a spotless history of peace and understanding, or don't you read the paper?

I don't try to justify it! I think what has happened is a terrible thing. But, seriously what do you want me to do about it? Should I hop in my time machine and stop it from ever happening? I didn't do any of those thing personally. At some point in time pretty much every "race", "religion", or "ethnicity" has been persecuted and has also been responsible for persecuting somone else. We all have dark pasts somewhere. That doesn't have much to do with me though considering that I never did any of those things myself. I would never dream of doing those kinds of things either. All violence is unjustified. It's not only "whites" who do it and it certainly isn't all "whites" either. In general though people try to justify something if it causes cognitive dissonance in their core being.

I am white and I admit my race is at fault but so is every other as for your "Why we all can't just get along" speech Yes, they should but it won't happen at least not any time soon as long as everyone is unknowingly dancing to the shadow governments toon everyone will be at each others throats and it will get worse and worse until World War 3 occurs and by then it will be too late.

Well, they should just accept it and period, it's not like if they PERSONALLY did all that, nope, their great grandfathers did that. I accept that my ancestors sacrificed people for Gods on top of pyramids in the Amazon forest. I also accept that my ancestors killed alot of animals to eat. I accept that my ancestors killed many of my ancestors friends and family!
Oh Yeah, it's just race, no big deal, everybody is individual and should not be marked down with some clique or whatever of such kind! And that is just my ancestors, and why would I care what they did, oh yeah they built the Aztec calendar without my help.

I am white, and personally am ashamed of what has been done in the past...massace of the Native Americans, African slavery, etc. There is no way to justify it now. All we can do is move on and be better people. But in the same respect, the white people of today shouldn't be condemned of what has happened in the past.

everyone is rascist. dont be so brainwashed by what you read. it is history, by the way, and you dont know exactly what happened. it can be interpreted by historians with different feelings.
and, every race has practiced slavery. stop living in the past. just accept that we all are evil and good ppl. and your question is not worded correctly. you should have said, "Why do white ppl feel discrimination is a justification of their innate superiority?" learn how to write be4 posting subjective statements. u need to be more objective and learn more about world history. Thanks!
