Slightly less than 50% today, but a lot of slime will have to flow under the bridge (from all parties) by the time of the election.
We should do away with political parties and go back to a body of candidates with highest vote getter being pres. and second place has to be VP.

So far there isn't a candidate that is strong enough Rudy would be good in the election but might not make it through the primary, McCain is flip-flopping too much, other candidates don't seem strong enough to run against the Hillary machine. They need very strong candidates on policy, uniting the nation, charm and the key a great supportive political team.

It's all about the candidate put forward by the Dems, & the platform they adopt at their convention. ( what's a convention, many ask?)
The Dems could have won & nearly did in 04, but got behind a man that many Dems (like myself) could never support!!

Depends on the particular candidate and their views. There's alot of range when it comes to the republicans and democrats.

Quit frankly who cares. Democrat or Republican it's the same thing. It's congress who calls the shots, the president is just the frontline puppet. You get the same results regardless of political party. I don't mean to sound like an *** but it's the truth.

Very good. They are favored to win. The majority of the american public will not vote for Hillary or Obama. There are too many red states that they can not compete in.

Reasonably high, especially if Democrats field Hillary as their front runner. The real problem Democrats have is credibility.
Does anyone even remember that it was HillaryCare that screwed up our health care system? Now she acts like we should trust her to solve the mess she created? No.
