I probably will upgrade to vista later this year but I just want to know what do I have to get to get a higher ram?

you go buy more ram. they are little rectangular things you stick into slots on the motherboard of your computer. ask any salesman at an electronics store and he or she should be able to help out more.

Before you do anything, go to pcworld.com and read all the stuff on Vista. One editor suggested to wait 6 months, till they get most of the bugs worked out of Vista. Like there are certain virus programs that will not work with Vista yet. Anyway go there and read the articles. Go to cnet.com too. SUbscribe to both for free

I think you have to get abut $85 to buy 1 gig ram to your Desktop, but if is a notebook you will have to get at least $150
