It's true, they post bulletins saying "comment my pics", what the hell!! Most of the comments are fake anyway.

No. I think it's dumb, and it's a fad and how sad every idiot I know asks "so whats your myspace?"--my answer-I don't have one, because I don't care. I just scanned through it once, for a friend, and boy was it so ridiculous, everyone is so egotistic, thinking that someone actually gives a damn about them, and posing in the lamest ways and writing a gazillions craps about themselves, basically a dairy but a dairy they want open to the public via, because they are self-centered and want everyone to revolve around them. losers. But, the only ones that truly care are stalkers; rapist; child molesters-**haha.

You sound like Holden Caulfield from The Catcher In the Rye man. Dont hate on people just for no reason! :) MySpace is for people who want to stay in touch with old friends and possibly meet new one's through other friends. That happens when you're new to an area and you have no idea who anyone is. It's not a website to actually meet new people and make friends when you know a lot of people anyway. And people who post such comments are dumb and begging for a little attention. Try MySpace if you're in a new city and you're by yourself. It helps.

yea, it gets pretty annoying...they put up a new pic...like everyday. I'm like dude...go outside. Myspace is strictly for...okay it really serves no purpose lol. I honestly don't even know why I have one...

in a way yeah, i do. i just deleted my profile last week in protest as it does seem to be kind of self serving and a bit of popularity contest. when i got into the 100's of friends i wanted to kick my own ***. but since deleting i've heard from a lot of my friends who say how much they miss hearing from me and reading my surveys so i kind of feel bad now. plus it is nice to be in a community of your real friends although the superfluous people can be kind of sickening. i don't know, do what's best for you.

thats only the camera whores with like 100 pictures of themselves and maybe 20 with themselves and friends on there talking about "im hot huh? be my friend!" not everyone's is like that. some people, like me, have pictures from their camera phones and just use it to stay in contact with friends, and of couse look at pictures of hot guys
