I know how you feel: it seems like you've got something valuable. But the reality is that it's very easy to get millions of valid email addresses through hundreds of techniques: robot computer programs that search web pages for email addresses, viral like programs that copy your outlook address book and send back to the spammer, and random character generators that just send out spams. We're talking hundreds of millions of email addresses, not a few thousand.
lol, anyway, try sending an offer to your list and see how many responses you get. Probably less than 1, lol.
