1 Kg= 1000 gm
so divide weight in grams by 1000 and u will get weight in Kg.
7439 grams= 7439/1000 Kgs= 7.439 kg

1000 grams=1 Kg
or,1 gm=(1/1000) Kg
or,7439 gms=(1/1000)X7439 Kg
or,7439 gms=(7439/1000) Kg
or,7439 gms=7.439 Kg(Ans)
By the way,actually Kg and gms are units of mass and not weight;still,casually speaking,they are often referred to in this way.
