It really depends on what genre you are looking at. Bucky Pizzarelli and Howard Alden made a great album together. They are two jazz guitarists for anyone who doesnt know. All of those solos are really classy and amazing.
For Rock/Metal there are so many choices. Anything by DragonForce, Into Eternity, Children of Bodom, Guns N' Roses, and Jimi Hendrix. There are so many more.

Its a cd by B.B.King- Title Lucille only cd he did where its all guitar no singing its great. And Robben Ford cd- Tiger walk he can play awesome!
