Myspace has been used by some really well kown adware companies to spread their crap. Be careful but MySpace is trying to increase security in that area.

It's completely safe as long as your not an idiot. I can't believe that myspace gets all the bad rep from dumb girls who get kidnap from meeting a stranger or "falling in love" with someone on myspace. I've been on myspace since it had only about 50,000 members. I've seen people post there phone numbers, address, etc. There are some crazy people out there, don't invite trouble. Be safe and don't be stupid.
