Allow me to answer your question with a question. If ADAM was with EVE and they bore two sons, how did the human race continue unless those two sons had unprotected sex with either their mom or their sister. Does this mean we come from a family of perverts? Therefore the correct answer to your question MUST be one because if there had been more than one, Cain or Abel (I can't remember which one was slain) would have done two women and as we all know, THAT is not Kosher. There, I hope that settles this question once and for all.
