I have a hole where my happiness use to reside. I work and study for a peice of paper. Is it worth it? Life in general? I have learned that happiness can not be manufactured. Its an empty promise made over death beds. "For a better tomorrow." Only take twice as much as needed.-Doctor Reccommended

Sorry, I am being sarcastic about america's dependency on quick fixes.
ie. drugs
I don't do drugs anymore.
I even gave up smoking.
I have severely limited my bad habits to caffiene and a few drinks now and then.
But I rarely drink alcohol now. It is not healthy for me.

You are having a "blues moment", probably tired, a little stressed, bored with studies that don't feel relevant, good to here someone has given up their bad habits, they can be hard to let go of, but your question was about happiness. Heres a mind game I play, when I'm having one of those moods. Imagine being very old, and never really LIVING, never taking a risk, never putting your heart out where it could be broken, never taking a trip, or go to a place you have never seen, when I try to think like this, it makes me get up and do something out of the box, if I fall on my face, I laugh at my self, if I succeed, or learn something new, I feel like a winner. I have a beautiful kaleidoscope collection, I bought my frist one when I needed to rethink my life, everytime a pick up one of my kaleidocopes, and look thru the lenses, I see something different, life is like that, sometimes you have to stop, and look at things from a different view. Tommorw morning take a different look, it can't hurt, so take a chance
