I would go! I don't have a boyfriend and a couple of my girlfriends don't either, so we would love to just hang out with other singles, have a few drinks and laughs. Why not,its just like going to the dinner party where everyone is single and looking to have fun! It's a perfect idea b/c not everyone has a special someone and its nice for them to have somewhere to go. When you hear the name "Anti", people sometimes think its against Valentine's Day but really, its just somewhere where all singles can go and hang out, maybe meet someone special or just feel good that they're single and have a great night socializing with other singles. Perfect idea!!!!!! Singles will feel special that this is a special dinner just for them instead of feeling alone from the thought of no Valentine, chocolates, and dinner. Your boss should have it every year, it would be great. You could get more crowds every year from advertisement, word of mouth, commercials on radio and t.v. in your area. Wonderful, Wonderful idea! I give ya'll my Thumbs Up! If I was from your area, I WOULD DEFINITELY GO!

I think it would be awesome if it were advertised well maybe on a local radio show or a billboard. When I was single there were a couple of Valentine's Days when a group of us with no boyfriends would get together. When you aren't involved with someone going out to eat with all the love birds can make you feel lonely. Heck I'd go with my husband to avoid all the love birds and sappy V day celebrations at restaurants.

I think that is the best idea I have ever heard of! All this commercial propaganda that something is wrong with you if you are single on V-Day...my S.O. and I go out of our way to not do anything or spend any money in support of V-Day (we don't need corporate America telling us when to "love" each other or that day is more important that the other 364 days). And you never know--all those singles that show up may just meet someone over the buffet table.....

it would probably be fun and a good way to spend valentine's day if you don't have a signifigant other. i don't know though, if it's a ***** fest about being alone i don't think i would go. if you can, try and talk to as many of the attendees and get a feel for the tone of the dinner; if it's a celebration go, if it's a opportunity to vent frustrations about the opposite sex stay away and avoid the bad dating karma. dating is tough enough without creating bad karma.

i think it might go good, because people would try to be kind and courteous. but it also might go badly people might not like the idea of an anti-valentines dinner. if it were me i would like a valentines dinner with my girlfriend but that is just me.
hope that helps.
