can you save music on the wii

i'm not sure about saving, but you can put music onto sd cards, and put them into the slot on the front of the wii and you can listen to that music in some games, but the only one i'm aware of is excite truck.

No, you cannot transfer music to or from the wii. You can, however, transfer pictures from a digital camera stored on an SD memory card. Of course, you can also save the pictures on a PC and place them on the SD card.
The XBOX 360 and possibly the PS3 are the consoles to go for multimedia needs. You want a Wii if you just want to be able to play games.

Not exactly...you can listen to your own music on the Wii Photo Channel and certain games (Excite Truck so far) using and SD Memory Card uploaded with songs, but that is it.
