I think you may be on to something there. It has been well known in the UK that certain roads, high ways and byways are not quite as others. Some roads follow ancient ley lines or cross places of power. There are many stories of people walking through a sunken lane and never appearring on the other end. Some roads should not be travelled on depending on the time of day, or year.
You should be careful. You saw something you should not have.

You know we all think we are unique, but in reality a lot of us have dopplegangers.
It would make sense that people who physically resembled us might have a similar upbringing and life experiences that would model our thinking to making similar choices in make and models of cars, clothing, etc. You saw "you" while passing by in a car, a quick glimpse. Probably just one of these body doubles.
I have actually seen mine, too, although across a huge crowd. From time to time I think I meet people who know her because they realize it is not me, but say, you look like someone I saw or know....
From time to time there will be such things on television comparing all the similarities between certain people who resemble each other, but who have never met.
And then again I often think my dad has some "history" he has not shared.

Dimensions merge from time to time ....space to space....
You may well have seen yourself, just a more punctual version. One of you is probably going to die soon because as realities merge they cancel out all unecessary replicated data (otherwise the multidimensional phenomena would have too many obsurd realities.)
So you have to ask yourself, "What reality do I think will prevail? This one or the one where I'm five minutes ahead?" Then participate in your chosen world.

Here's an old poem:"There was a young girl named Bright, who traveled faster than light. She departed one day, in the usual way and came back on the preceding night.":)
