Does anybody know of different codes used as communication in letters from a prison. This is new to me. Are these letters,Mine, passed around, and if so, am I recieving answers from a diverse crowd. Some are a bit strange. My friend there may have no choice in this. It's all very confusing.

well you could ask him discreetly about something very embarrassing that happened to you at a time or place then you should have a clue if its your friend or not hope this helps

i dont know your friends circumstances but in general inmates do not like to pass their mail around for any reason. there are different codes used in letters and sometimes an inmate will ask another inmate who is leaving to mail something for him. your question goes into stuff i havent heard of....but here is what you do if you think they are playing tricks on you...stop writing. do not send anything especially money or stamps. stay away if its uncomfortable.
