"Dust In the Wind" is a great song. Just about anything by Kansas in fact. "Carry On Wayward Son" also has a great message.

"Time" - Pink Floyd. It's about how time seems shorter as we grow older and about how we spend it. It's got an awsome guitar solo in it too.
"Garden Party" - Ricky Nelson. It's got some pop culture humor laced in there, but the lyric "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself" stick to you.
